Since 2013, a new S‑shaped pylon bridge has meandered across the Agger River near Lohmar, a town in West Germany. Due to its curving shape, the bridge, which reflects the course of the river, is perfectly integrated into the landscape.
In October 2013, the "Walsersteg", a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists built across the Loisach River, opened in the south of the old town of Wolfratshausen in Germany. The bridge connects the existing traffic routes on both sides of the river. The uncovered bridge spans the Loisach without columns and has a pylon guyed on one side. The structure has a width of 9.8 ft and a span width of 150.9 ft.
